Geology Week in Athlone Library: 10th to 17th October 2019

As part of the Diamond Anniversary of the IGA, many events are being organised.  Thanks to the Chief Librarian and the Staff of Athlone Library, there will be a "Geology Week" exhibition of rocks and minerals from the 10th to the 17th October 2019.  The aim of this exhibition is to raise public awareness of the presence of geology all around us.  Many thanks to Margaret Franklin for organising this!
